Movies to watch at the Cinema in May and June

There are some great movies on at the cinema at the moment. We asked the staff at Cineworld in Spytty what is hot right now, and what is coming out soon that you need to check out!

Dumbo

This remake of the Disney original is a great hit with adults and kids alike! Who can’t help falling in love with the little elephant with the big ears? Danny DeVito plays a great part too.

Avengers: Endgame

For all those Marvel fans out there, this one is not to be missed! Watch the Avengers make a final stand against Thanos in this action-packed film.

POKEMON: Detective Pikachu

Definitely one for the kids, this is the first-ever live-action Pokemon film. It stars a great cast, including Ryan Reynolds, Rita Ora and Justice Smith

Captain Marvel

Another film from Marvel Studios. Why not watch them both!

Aladdin

This Disney live-action remake is bound to be a big hit with adults and kids alike! We can’t wait to see Will Smith as the genie, and hope he does as good a job as Robin Williams did in the cartoon version. It looks like some of the same songs are in it as well – hardest part? Not singing along to all the songs, including ‘I can show you the World’ in a busy cinema!

Tolkien

Fan of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings? Launch yourself into the world of the writer JRR Tolkien in this great pic, which is based on his early life in an orphanage, and afterwards in the First World War. See how these experiences and friendships helped create a ‘fellowship’ that comes through in his writing.

Paw Patrol

If you are quick, you may still get a chance to see Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Skye, Zuma and Rubble from Paw Patrol up on the big screen! A popular choice with the younger kids!

Well there we have it – a quick update on what to catch at the movies in the next few weeks. Our cinema of choice is Cineworld in Spytty. Easy location with free parking, why not check out when the film of your choice is on here.
