Nordic Walking Class – Newport Wetlands/Fourteen Locks

Looking for a new exercise that is both social and great for your health, regardless of your fitness level? Why not try Nordic Walking!

Monday sees a walk being held in one of 2 locations in Newport (rotating weekly) – either Fourteen Locks, or The Newport Wetlands Centre.

Suitable for a range of age groups from young adults to those in their 80s and beyond, from beginners to more advanced walkers, each walk takes approximately 1.5 hours, and cover a distance ranging from 3.5-4.5 miles, at a cost of £5 per class. Comfortable walking shoes, as well as suitable clothing is needed, but poles are supplied for the classes.

If you are looking for a new exercise, and to meet with others looking to enjoy outdoor walking and fitness with a difference, please contact Ed from Nordic Walking on 07906365280 to book your class.

Ed Woolley runs a number of Nordic Walking classes in the Newport and Caerphilly areas each week. Classes are run from areas such as the Newport Wetlands, Fourteen Locks Canal Centre and Tredegar House in Newport, as well as Cwmcarn Forest Drive, Pontywaun Canal Path, and Cwm Gelli in the Blackwood area.
